Biography

Garrett Davis is an award-winning playwright filmmaker and producer, having numerous awards given in his honor for productions that were created by his team.

Davis has written and toured over 25 theatrical productions since 1994 while featuring the likes of Regina Bell, Carl Payne from the Martin Lawrence Show, Glen Jones, Freddie Jackson, Lil G from Sik, Calvin Richardson, Tony Terry, Melvin Williams from the Williams Brothers, Ann Nesby and Melba Moore just to name a few.

Pre-Pandemic G Davis Productions was touring 4 theatrical productions simultaneously on a national stage: Mama’s Girls, Daddy’s Boys, Forget Me Not and Sisters at Heart. Garett Davis launched Gdavis TV in April 2022 where viewers can watch all Gdavis content including their award-winning plays, drama series and documentaries on ROKU, Amazon Fire and Apple TV.
