Qualifications for the Star of Fam

The ACE Star of Fame incudes:
Live Theatre/Performance
Dancers and Choreographers
Musicals, Musical Directors
Playwrights and Artists
Directors and Producers
Letter of agreement from the nominee or his/her management. (Nominee Committee)
A fee of $1000.00 payable of time of selection is collected to pay for the creation, marketing and ceremony. The fee is paid by the nominating organization, which may be a fan club, donors, friends and family or other sponsors involved with the prospective honoree.
Each year an average of 30 nominations are submitted to the Star of Fame selection committee. Anyone can nominate “persons” active in the field of entertainment as long as the nominee or his or her management approves the nomination. Nominees must have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in the category for which they are nominated. Deceased nominees must have been deceased at least five (5) years. At a meeting (TBD), the committee selects approximately 10 Legends to receive “Stars” on the Star of Fame.
Nomination Process
One deceased award is given each year as well. The nominations of those not selected are rolled over to the following year for reconsideration: those not selected two (2) years in a row are dropped and must be re-nominated to receive consideration. Living recipients must agree to personally attend a Presentation Ceremony (Dinnertainment). Presentation ceremonies are open to the public. The Presentation Ceremony is to personally honor their star’s unveiling. A Physical Star Plaque that will be recognized annually at ACE Awards. The Star will be displayed on the web page.
All nominations must include the following documents.
· Photo of the nominee.
· Brief bio of nominee- No more than two (2) pages.
· Nominees qualifications.
· List of contributions to the community and civic oriented participation of the nominee.
Star of Fame Gala – “An Evening With The Stars”
The Theatre & Arts Community in this region is full of unsung heroes. On this night, we want to take a moment and thank artist who left a legacy and pathway for inspiring artist to continue their work in our communities.
This Gala is a black-tie Dinnertainment event to honor and celebrate the legends of “The Arts”. This Gala has several amazing segments. The guest will enjoy interviews on the “Red Carpet” with media coverage along with a full-course dinner, entertainment, and the unveiling of their “Stars”. At the Gala, the legends will accept their “Induction into The ACE Star of Fame”. Presentations and acceptance speeches will be given.
