Biography

Wanda Dunston also known as Playwright WandaDee is from Nash County NC. WandaDee began writing at a very early age and always had a passion to be creative. For over 19 years, she has written plays and provided assistance whenever needed to several churches and organizations across eastern NC. She has been known to speak at many events and always provides encouragement and inspiration to all.

by 2018 WandaDee was taking the theater by storm, the production ‘n Everything Trust God has won multiple awards, iinclude The Gospel Image Award and The People’s Choice Award. WandaDee is an advocate for local acting talent and continues to write her own productions to encourage people to move forward in life. The productions have resulted in a ministry that provides healing for the soul.

She has worked with well known names in the gospel industry, including gospel artist Paul Porter, Young Sensational CaDarius Price, Pastor Nell Smith Ward and director Donald Gray. Her plays have been featured in Church Stars Magazine and won the DPI Best Stage Play and DPI Up and Coming Playwright of the Year Awards.
